Armed Services YMCA is committed to maintaining good corporate governance. As such, we voluntarily comply with the provisions of The Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002, commonly referred to as the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX). Although most of the provision of this legislation do not apply to nonprofit organizations, we believe that our voluntary compliance demonstrates and reinforces our commitment to integrity, competence, and fiduciary responsibility in managing donors’ money.

Of particular interest to our web site visitors is the ASYMCA Code of Ethical Conduct, wherein we spell out our principles for dealing with U.S. Military men and women in uniform and their family members.

We encourage all who are associated with the Armed Services YMCA to report breaches of this policy and any occurrences of misconduct, fraud, and abuse by ASYMCA employees or Board members, or any contractor employees working on our behalf. We have established an independent, third party, anonymous reporting system to receive and process reports of violations of our policies and ethical conduct.
