SHOOT FOR THE TROOPS

Our Shoot for the Troops Fundraiser is held at the Birchwood Recreation and Shooting Park, and helps us raise funds to provide programs and services for military stationed in Alaska. Each year, corporations sponsor military teams who compete against teams from the local community for 1st place bragging rights. Shoot for the Troops is a 100-shot sporting clays tournament, with a BBQ lunch to follow.

August 12, 2022
Birchwood Recreation & Shooting Park
Check-in begins at 9:00am, event kicks off at 10:00am
Lunch to follow with prizes for top team and top shooter

MILITARY PARTICIPANTS:

  • Open to currently serving military of all ranks and branches of service
  • All military participants and military teams participate at no cost to the service member
  • Registration is available on a first-come-first-serve basis
  • To Register: Fill out the registration form below. Once completed, send your form to events@akasymca.org no later than July 30th.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS:

We have team slots available to purchase. Your team slot includes course fees for five shooters, ammo, lunch at the banquet between rounds, a commemorative event tee, and acknowledgment on our event banner. If you would like to support the ASYMCA of Alaska by fielding a team for this event, please contact our branch director at 552-9622.
