Armed Services YMCA and Sierra Club Sends Kansas Military Kids to Camp

More than 100 children of Kansas service men and women will spend this week in the great outdoors, at a camp cosponsored by the Armed Services YMCA and the Sierra Club. Today, July 11, at 10am, at the Kansas Regional Training Institute in Salina, Major Gen. Tod Bunting, Adjutant General of Kansas, will be the keynote speaker at the Camp’s closing ceremony, as the kids celebrate their successful completion of the five-day camp. The campers range in age from 9 to 17, and are from all across the state.
