Armed Services YMCA and Texas de Brazil Restaurants Team Up to Give Free Meals to US Service Members and Their Families

What’s better than a delicious dinner? A complimentary delicious dinner shared with family! The Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) is excited to partner with Texas de Brazil restaurants as they sponsor one junior enlisted military family each month to receive a complimentary meal.

“Enjoying time with family over dinner is one small thing that many of us take for granted. Our service members and their families are not always granted the same luxury,” said Mike Landers, ASYMCA President and CEO. “The simple experience of sharing a meal with family is often limited or non-existent for those who serve. We’re thrilled to partner with Texas de Brazil to provide this opportunity for service members to make memories and enjoy a good meal with their families.”

Few people outside of the military community understand the challenges and emotional stress many military families face. The appreciation dinner is Texas de Brazil’s way of demonstrating their gratitude for the sacrifices military families and service members make for our country. Each family’s experience at the restaurant will be sponsored completely by Texas de Brazil at one of their domestic locations.

“Texas de Brazil is thrilled to enter into a partnership with ASYMCA,” said Salim Asrawi, C.O.O.  of Texas de Brazil.  “We appreciate the sacrifice from military members and their families and applaud this organization’s efforts and commitment to military families.  We look forward to providing additional support through this exciting partnership.”

The Brazilian-style steakhouse provides a uniquely appetizing fine-dining experience. Diners enjoy a 50-60 item seasonal salad-bar, accompanied by a non-stop offering of meats, mouthwateringly grilled to perfection. Their extensive menu includes a variety of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage that diners choose at their discretion as servers pass by. Everything from beverages to dessert will be included as part of Texas de Brazil’s gift to military families.
