PenFed Foundation Donates $75,000 to Send Military Children to Camp

August 22, 2012- Rocky Mitchell and Chris Flynn from the PenFed Foundation presented the Armed Services YMCA of the USA CEO Mike Landers and COO Tom Landwermeyer with a check for $75,000 at Armed Services YMCA Headquarters in Springfield, Virginia.

Funding from the PenFed Foundation  provides 341 military children and families with the opportunity to attend camp to help make military life easier. The camping grant impacts Military Families at Fort Leonard Wood, as well as military children at Twentynine Palms, Fort Bragg and Fort Campbell during 2012.
