The El Paso Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) is a top-rated military charity that makes military life easier for young, junior-enlisted troops and their families stationed at Fort Bliss and Holloman Air Force Base. We partner with the Fort Bliss senior leadership and the community to make the El Paso experience memorable.

The El Paso Armed Services YMCA’s Junior Enlisted Family Center provides free tools and services to help families cope with the challenges of military life.  Free clothing and household items are available, in addition to, an emergency food pantry stocked with non-perishable food items donated from the local El Paso community. The center also provides family bonding opportunities and youth development programs such as Mommy and Me classes, CPR training and other events that help strengthen the military family.

Another signature program of the El Paso ASYMCA is our Child Development Center (CDC). We are one of the few CDC’s in El Paso accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and also certified as a Texas 4 Star CDC, the highest rating attainable in the state of Texas. In keeping with our motto of making military life easier our Child Development Center provides extended hours that accommodate busy and unpredictable work schedules.
