Summer Adventure Camp Field Trip

ASYMCA Day Camp offers children positive developmental experiences and encourages them to forge bonds with each other and with staff, building confidence through skill-building activities suited to their age. Children experience a sense of achievement through opportunities in the outdoors and are welcomed to a physically and emotionally safe and stimulating environment.

Day campers are able to explore creativity, teamwork and leadership in a wide range of physically active programs that influence lifelong healthy living. They have the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor environment where they develop an appreciation of nature.  Day camp builds an interest in community with experiences in local and global cultures where campers gain an appreciation for others different from themselves.  Today, Day Camp is more vital than ever, with an increased emphasis on child safety, summer learning traditions, personal values and social skills.

The purpose of Day Camp is to help youth grow spiritually, mentally, and physically. Day Camps give young people an experience that can last a lifetime.

Ages K-5. (must be going into the grade. Upcoming 6th grade is not eligible)

Rates:

$35 Registration fee per child

$110 per week (all day care)

$100 per additional child

 

*** Weekly fees include all field trips and special events.

 

Registration Requirements:

Contacts:  A registration form must be completed be a legal parent or guardian for enrollment.  The legal guardian who completes the registration controls pick-up arrangements and authorizes emergency contacts.  The ASYMCA is unable to become involved in custody matters and will follow registration form instructions.

Medical:  Allergies and medical history will be recorded at the time of registration.  Any special instructions for medication must be documented on the registration form.

Payments:  Payments must be made the Wednesday prior to the week you are paying for.  You may pay with check, money order or by credit/debit card.  There is a $5.00 processing & handling fee if paying with a credit/debit card.  Cash will NOT be accepted.  $25.00 returned check fee.

 

Things to know:

* Campers must bring their own bag lunch to camp everyday.

*  Campers need to wear comfortable (appropriate) clothes daily.  Tennis shoes are recommended. Not wearing proper foot attire and clothing may result in a camper missing out on an activity.

*   Snacks will be available for purchase at the camp.

*  Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle daily.

 

All ASYMCA Counselors are 18 years of age or older, background certified and CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
