The 24th Annual Armed Services YMCA Duck Race will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in conjunction with Old Settler’s Day. The field consists of 72 ducks. Six qualifying heats will be held and the first and second place winners from each heat will be eligible to compete in the Championship Race. All ducks eliminated in the heats may compete in the Consolation Race.

To sponsor a duck, organizations, businesses or individuals pay a $100.00 entry fee. In return, they receive a decoy duck to name, decorate and train. In addition, they receive 50 tickets to sell for $2.00 each to defray the cost of the entry fee. If a sponsor’s duck wins, one of their tickets will be drawn for the winning prize.

Prizes:

Championship:

  • 1st Place: $300.00
  • 2nd Place: $200.00
  • Heat Winners: $50.00

Consolation:

  • 2nd Place: $50.00
