Parent & Me – Norfolk Crossing Community Center

The Norfolk Crossing Community Center is located in the Camp Allen Lincoln Military housing area at 7851 Norfolk Crossing Avenue, Norfolk, VA 20505. We are open 4 days a week from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. We do not have a direct phone line to the center, but feel free email us with your questions. The Center Director is Lia Rudon and can be reached at norfolk.crossing@asymcahr.org

The activity calendar is published monthly but may change. For class cancellations or changes please follow our Community Center Facebook Group or email norfolk.crossing@asymcahr.org and ask to be added to the email list.

Group Fitness Classes/Family Fitness

Our Group Fitness Classes/Family Fitness Classes are fun and empowering! Please bring a yoga mat, sweat towel, and water bottle.   All fitness levels are accommodated. Nursery is available for participants utilizing Group Fitness Classes.

Mommy’s Time

Need to get the check book balanced? Need time to catch up on your scrap-booking or homework ? Have a book you want to read? Always wanted to learn to sew? Bring in your projects that you have a hard time finishing at home! WiFi and Nursery are available for participants utilizing this program!

Scampers

Too cold for the park? Too hot to be outside? Come join us inside for a class that will get your child(ren) moving! Scampers is a fun-filled program where you and your child can enjoy fun,physical activity with other families! It’s 1.5 hours of free play that helps progress social & physical growth! Great for kids of all ages!

Nursery

During our adult activity classes we offer a preschool atmosphere program that is for your 6 week old & older to participate in. This activity offers the children a place to socialize with other children their age while enhancing physical & developmental growth. (This class is not intended as a kindergarten program.)

Tiny Tumblers

This is an hour long tumble class for your little one. They will be developing & improving their physical & motor skills while rolling, climbing, crawling, & jumping; all while progressing socially.

The Armed Services Y provides free or low-cost youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs for junior enlisted military & their families to make military life easier.
