About Us

Who We Are

Armed Services YMCA Hawaii provides innovative and quality social, educational, and recreational programs to meet the needs of military service members and their families in the state of Hawaii. We are committed to strengthening military families, supporting healthy lifestyles, reducing isolation, and assisting service members and their families connect to their community.

In 2022, Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) Hawaii served approximately 90,000 service men, women, and their families on Oahu. With branch locations at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, and U.S. Army Schofield Barracks/Wheeler Army Airfield, ASYMCA provides a network of programs, services, and opportunities to empower people and communities to learn, grow, and thrive.

During deployment, while transitioning between bases, and in times of conflict and peace, ASYMCA continues “Strengthening Our Military Family®” through its 12 branches and 24 affiliate partners, serving 87 military installations and facilities nationwide.
