Our yoga classes are about creating balance in the body by developing both strength and flexibility. This is achieved through the performance of poses and postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heart in the body through movement (Vinyasa-style yoga) or slow movement to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are constant, but the approach varies depending on the tradition in which the teacher has trained. Beginners and seasoned veterans are welcome in our classes. Be sure to bring your own mats and blocks.
