ASYMCA is entirely self-funded through individual donations, corporate contributions, and a standing YMCA endowment that pays for our military programs and services in full. Except for contracts for services, ASYMCA receives no funding from the U.S. government.

There are a number of opportunities to sponsor the ASYMCA. You may choose to sponsor ASYMCA nationally, support a specific ASYMCA program, or support a program at an ASYMCA location near your community.

An ASYMCA program may be a match for your organization's corporate citizenship strategy. Sponsorship could be a method for you to differentiate your company from the competition in your industry before military decision makers, or just raise awareness for a key product line. Or, you may share a local community with an ASYMCA branch.

ASYMCA is able to provide its support services to hundreds of thousands of junior-enlisted military personnel and their families because of the generous support of individuals and corporations, large and small.

ASYMCA is a proud participant in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the world's largest and most successful annual workplace giving campaign, enabling federal employees to contribute to the charities of their choice. ASYMCAs throughout the country facilitate a wide range of programs and services for our nation's military service members and their families. The basic difference between an ASYMCA and a community YMCA is that ASYMCAs are not membership based. Another difference is that ASYMCAs do not generally operate full-facility (gym and swim) Ys. In fact, there is only one ASYMCA that does operate the more traditional YMCA, and this is the Kitsap Family YMCA in Bremerton, Washington.View Sponsors
