Kinder Time / Kinder Ready

During this class, the ASY facilitator helps the children learn their alphabet by associating it with objects that begin with the same letter. While learning the letter T, the class talked about Traffic Lights to help them remember. The discussed not only the colors of the light, but what each color represents. The children were asked to wear the colors that they learned the next time they came to class. One little girl wore red tights, a yellow skirts, and a green shirt to show the ASY that she knew all the colors. Although she had the colors backwards, she nevertheless had learned all of them and could recognize what they meant. Her outfit was the hit of the day, and they ASY staff member loves to tell her story.
