Operation Hero

Children growing up in a highly demanding military lifestyle face a number of challenges—such as new duty stations and deployment of a parent. The Operation Hero program helps children, grades two through six, face the challenges of adjusting to school on an academic or peer level that is often brought on by the demands of growing up in the military. Through this program, children learn conflict resolution, self-esteem building, and receive assistance with their homework.
