Membership is required. Membership in the Armed Services YMCA is required for active duty military service members and their adult family members who want to enroll or participate in programs and services offered by their local Armed Services ASYMCA branch—either for themselves or for their children 18 years old or younger. Military service members and their spouses must register online to become a member at their local branch.
Membership is free. There is no cost to be a member*. However, programs and services may include a fee to participate.
*Note: The ASYMCA Killeen branch operates a community YMCA Fitness and Wellness Center that offers significantly reduced rates for active duty military family members
Membership is restricted. To protect our members and youth, the Armed Services YMCA conducts a check of the National Registry of Sex Offenders for all members over the age of 18. Any individual who applies for membership to the Armed Services YMCA is subject to this check. The Armed Services YMCA will not grant membership to anyone on the National Registry of Sex Offenders. If during the membership application review, your name appears on the registry, your membership application will be denied, and you will not be allowed access to Armed Services YMCA programs or facilities.
