The Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads provided the ultimate princess ball Friday, April 12, 2019 for over 400 Military Fathers and Daughters at the 16th Annual Father Daughter Military Ball.
This sparkling event offered Military fathers and their daughters a night of dancing, dining, and laughing the night away at the Marriott Norfolk Waterside. When the princesses weren’t spinning on the dance floor, they each had a chance to meet Princess Jasmine, create Sand-Art Genie Bottles while having glitter placed in their hair, and take advantage of the many photo opportunities. Smiles were painted on attendees the entire evening!
As April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, a time to honor the sacrifices made by military families worldwide, this event provided emphasis on the experience of dependent daughters. The Father Daughter Military Ball strengthened the bond between military daddies and their little princesses by providing opportunities for them to spend quality one on one time at an event solely about them. Presented by Lincoln Military Housing, proceeds from this event benefitted the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads' No-cost, early education, youth enrichment program, Operation Little Learner. This program, through our strategic partnership with Lincoln Military Housing, is offered to young junior enlisted families residing in military housing. Contributing sponsors for the 2019 Father Daughter Military Ball included USAA, Marriott Norfolk Waterside, United Concordia Dental, Omni Financial, Premier Events, Everly After Events, and Xtreme DJ's.
Photos taken at this event will be posted on our Facebook page in the upcoming weeks!
