ASYMCA BOARD MEMBER MEETING

Sarah Riffer, Executive Director of Armed Services YMCA of Alaska gave board members a tour of the local ASYMCA branch and Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson (JBER). Board members also visited the local Teddy’s Child Watch, which provides child watch services at hospitals so families can easily access healthcare. At Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson, Colonel Dietrich, gave a presentation on how the ASYMCA fills the needs of base members and their families. A discussion followed as to how the ASYMCA may further assist military families on JBER.
