For military parents, it can often be difficult to focus on their own health and
well-being when their attention is divided between care provider and their children. The Armed Services YMCA Children’s Waiting Room provides a safe and welcoming environment for children while their parents attend medical appointments at the Robinson Health Clinic.
Families can use this service for up to one hour per medical appointment at Robinson Health Clinic. This program is offered at no-cost to military families and open for children ages 1 to 11.
Starting April 12th, this program operates weekly as follows:
- Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Thursday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. / 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
How to register:
This is not a drop-in service. Pre-registration is required each time you utilize the service. Register your child today at: https://www.asymca.org/fort-bragg-home, click on the “My ASYMCA” tab, then select Children’s Waiting Room. This is the first step in registering for the service, please note you will NOT select your specific appointment time and date during this step.
Once you have completed the registration of your child in our system, you will receive an email from an Armed Services YMCA employee within two business days verifying information. Your registration will not be completed until you receive a final confirmation email from our Children’s Waiting Room Attendant verifying the date and time of your appointment.

Please review these before your registration and contact us with any questions or concerns. Due to Covid-19, we have strict cleaning and health protocols in place. Children over the age of 2 years must wear a mask in order to utilize this service. Parents are responsible for having children bring their own toys or tablets from home during this time. The Armed Services YMCA cleans all shared surface areas between participants and adheres to strict cleaning policies.
