March 27, 2020: The Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg knows that this virus has everyone concerned about health, safety, and the future. We recognize that now more than ever military families need support – which is why we are announcing changes to our Food Pantry to remain open.
Our offices will remain closed to the public, however families in need of support will simply fill out an online form via this link. Once completed, the family will be contacted at the email address provided to confirm a pick up date and time along with specific pick-up instructions.
Families will receive pre-bagged items from the pantry based on their families size. While we wish we could take into account every person’s specific wants, we need to operate effectively to serve our military families. Families in need of diapers or formula will be able to make those requests via the online form.
Please note that as more military spouses and veterans are furloughed due to the crisis, that the need for supplies on our pantry will continue to grow. We will accept donations of non-perishable food and personal hygiene items on an appointment only basis. Please contact Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org or 910-436-0500 X27 to coordinate a drop off time. All drop-offs must be scheduled in advance so Armed Services YMCA staff can maintain the recommended safety precautions.
