An Update from Rachel
On behalf of our entire family, thank you to all for their generosity, kind words, and understanding as we shared our story in December. We have received an outpouring of support over these past months, which has been a blessing for our family.
Speaking of blessings, we have welcomed our baby boy, Andras Jozsef, on December 29, 2020, weighing 8 pounds, 4 oz. and 21.5 inches long. We have been adjusting to being parents and have been enjoying these last two months watching Andras grow and learn new things. He has been giving us many smiles every day!
The Armed Services YMCA has allowed our family and fellow military families to feel more secure. Being a part of the recent media exposure has shed light on issues within the military community with food insecurity, the high cost of childcare, and the rate of spousal unemployment. Our family feels very proud to be a part of this organization and hope we have inspired other families to reach out to the Armed Services YMCA for assistance.
