Fun Crafts to Celebrate Mom

HR2020_MDhands3

Our Little Learners know how to show Mom some love and celebrate her. Normally at this time of year, we would be working on some super-adorable Mother's Day crafts with our Operation Little Learners' friends. Since we can't get together in person, we thought we'd give you some tools and printables to show some Mother's Day love at home. We know our moms treasure these precious keepsakes. The set-up is super simple and easy and Mom will definitely love it!

ALL ABOUT MY MOM

It just never gets old. Moms love to hear all the things their littles have to say about them. This easy-to-fill-in activity lets you know what your kiddo thinks about you.

Trust us - there will be some priceless tidbits in there.

MATERIALS:

All you need for this activity is a grown-up or older sibling to help write out answers and some crayons or colored pencils for your Little Learner to decorate the page. You can easily recreate this flower on a piece of construction paper with a circle center and hearts for the petals.

You can find the print-friendly PDF version here.

See above. Seriously, these things never get old.

This is a great activity for slightly older kiddos to fill in on their own.

MATERIALS:

All you need for this activity is a grown-up or older sibling to help write out answers and some crayons or colored pencils for your Little Learner to decorate the page.

You can easily recreate this list on a piece of notebook or construction paper. Have fun coming up with your own "I love my Mom because..." statements.

You can find the print-friendly PDF version here.

I LOVE MY MOM HANDPRINT FLOWERS

Moms also really love crafts and activities that show off adorable Little Learner handprints. It's just the truth.

MATERIALS:

  • Paint (optional) or colored paper
  • Scissors and glue (if using paper)
  • Crayons or colored pencils

HR2020_momflowerpotYou can make this activity with all kinds of sensory fun and paint your kiddos hand and help them place their handprint at the end of each flower stem. You can also go paint-less and help your kiddo trace their hand on colored paper. Then cut out the handprints and glue them to the top of each stem. Have your kiddo trace the M O M and color the flower pot.

You can easily recreate this activity by drawing or cutting out a flower pot, copying the poem onto the pot and drawing stems. Then attach or paint handprints onto the page. You can even trace handprints right onto the stems and color them in on this page.

You can find the print-friendly PDF version here.
