March 19, 2020: The Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg is pleased to introduce a new staff member Samantha Farone, Branch Business Manager.
Bio: Samantha Farone was born and raised in Warren, Pennsylvania, but has lived all over the world. She has been married to her amazing husband, Robert, for nearly 12 years and has been a proud Army spouse for just as long. She and Robert have one daughter, Sydney, 9.
Samantha holds a B.S. and M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University. She loves learning and would be a professional student if that were a career path! She also enjoys quilting, reading, and spending as much time as possible at the ocean.
What do you love about Fort Bragg? Fort Bragg is like no other post in the Army. The sense of community here is amazing. Though it’s the largest post in the Army, Fort Bragg still has that “hometown” feel that I love.
How long have you/your family been stationed at Fort Bragg? We have been stationed at Fort Bragg since early 2017.
3) Why did you join the staff of the Armed Services YMCA? I have always loved the work of the ASYMCA and all that they provide for the community. I had volunteered as a quilter for the Operation Kid Comfort program and got to see firsthand all the amazing services has to offer. When I heard about an opportunity to join the team, I jumped on it!
