What does a small gift mean to new parents at Fort Bragg? For many families it means starting off on the right foot with their new infant. Each day Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg volunteers assemble and deliver baby bundles to new parents (rank E6 and below) at Womack Army Medical Center. These volunteers even deliver on weekends and holidays to ensure no eligible family is left out!
Each baby bundle includes diapers, a blanket, an outfit, toys/enrichment items, a book, and a voucher for more diapers by stopping by the Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg offices. We provide each family with a note to share their appreciation with our volunteers, staff, and donors. The Baby Bundle program is generously supported by The Susan M. Tillis Foundation, The Association of Bragg Spouses, and by individual donors who provide items to be included in our bags. We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support provided by our funders and volunteers.
If you are interested volunteering for this program or any other Fort Bragg programs, please contact Trinette at TSlaughter@asymca.org or 910-436-0500.
