Operation Hero is a free after-school program for military children in grades 2-8. It is designed to help these students address the unique challenges they face, such as frequent moves and deployments. Trained facilitators for Operation Hero create a safe environment for students to express emotions, receive academic and emotional support, and connect with peers experiencing the same challenges.
This fall the program will operate at nine locations throughout Fort Bragg, Cumberland and Harnett Counties beginning September 23. Registration is now open!
