December 9, 2019 from the Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg:
"Thanks to Operation Ride Home, our family was able to go back home together for the first time in four years. Since our last visit, my husband has deployed three times, we have had two more children, and so many other things have changed too.It was a great opportunity for our family to enjoy time together and reconnect with our families back home.
We drove down a few days before Thanksgiving and spent time with some friends who PCSed over the summer. On Thanksgiving, we saw all of our family and our two youngest kids got to meet all of their cousins for the first time- which was a sight to see! We spent time with our grandparents, our kids met one of their great grandfathers for the first time. We had such a special time sharing our hometown with our kids and visiting with family before an upcoming PCS. We are so thankful for this opportunity and have so many laughs and memories that we will always cherish from our trip."
