January 31, 2020: The Armed Services YMCA Fort Bragg is looking to hire an individual to serve in multiple child care positions on/around Fort Bragg. The right candidate understands the Armed Services YMCA's mission, is not intimidated by change and innovation, and is eager to serve as the front lines in working with military children.
About the position: This hire will be trained to work in multiple programs including but not limited to: Children's Waiting Room, Operation Hero, and child care. You can download each program's job description by clicking on the highlighted link above.
Hours, rate of pay, and benefits: This position will work up to 30 hours a week. Hourly pay rate is $11 per hour, with growth potential. Benefits for this position include Health Care (Medical, Vision, and Dental), paid holidays, eligibility for a 403 (b) Smart Account (a tax-deferred savings plan), and eligibility to participate in the YMCA Retirement fund and match program after 2 years of employment.
Location and Travel: This position will be required to have access to Fort Bragg. Potential locations of work include: Fort Bragg, Linden Oaks, Highland Elementary (Harnett County), and Cumberland County.
Requirements of the job: All training on the positions will be provided. Applicants MUST have/be able to obtain the following:
- Pass a State and Federal Background Check
- Have a high school diploma
- Receive required shots for child care, including TB and flu
