Operation Kid Comfort

This program, established in October 2003 at Ft. Bragg, is a FREE program that addresses the emotional stress that children of deployed service members suffer during a parent’s absence from home. Our goal with this program is to ensure that every child (age 0-5 years) receives a photo transfer quilt that bears the images of their deployed family member, alone and interacting with the family, to comfort them, and children age 6-12 years receive a pillow with a picture of their deployed family member.
