Combined Federal Campaign

Support Our Troops and their Families through the CFC – Designate #11085

Federal employees can donate to the nonprofits of their choice through the annual Combined Federal Campaign, known as the CFC. Pledges made by federal civilian, postal, and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world.

Show your support of our troops and their families by designating the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) as a recipient of your CFC contribution. Your generosity will enable us to continue providing programs and services.  Programs are tailored to the needs of local military installations nationwide with a focus on helping them cope with the realities of military life, including the stress of having a loved one deployed, additional childcare responsibilities and increased financial burdens.  ASYMCA programs and services include such things as childcare, hospital assistance, spouse support services, emergency food and clothing, computer training classes, health and wellness services and holiday meals.

Why the ASYMCA?

The Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) has 34 branch or affiliate locations, supporting 59 of our largest military installations, across the country.  Collaborating with military leadership to ensure we are filling the highest priority gaps in programs and services, the ASYMCA provides support to more than 500,000 troops and families each year.

  • Approximately 1,100 military children annually receive intervention services to help them deal with the stresses of military life, through the Operation Hero program.
  • We have enabled participation of more than 105,000 military children in YMCA programs through the Department of Defense Military Outreach Initiative.
  • Through our Operation Kid Comfort program, we have provided more than 20,000 free, handmade, personalized photo quilts to children of deployed service members to help military children cope with the deployment of a parent.

Are we fiscally responsible?

The ASYMCA is proud of our fiscal responsibility. In 2012 we were designated as a top-rated charity by CharityWatch and for the 7th consecutive year received the highest (4-star) rating from Charity Navigator.  Rest assured that your donation will be used in the most effective and economical way ensuring the highest support for our service members and their families.

These young heroes and their families are voluntarily serving and sacrificing daily so we can continue to enjoy our freedoms and way of life.  Help us help them!
