Operation Hero is a free after-school mentoring program for children ages 6-12 who are facing unique challenges due to relocation and/or parent deployment. The Operation Hero program helps children deal with these challenges in a healthy way and helps children discover that they are heroes just like their military parents.
The program uses a unique approach that empowers children to make better choices, builds their self-esteem, teaches team building, and helps them succeed academically.
We run two, 10 week sessions in the fall and spring at select elementary schools. For the spring semester of the 2014-15 school year, please check back.

testimonial: “I was approached by one of the parents in our program to thank us for everything we have been doing for her daughter. The student’s mother said that she had seen a major improvement in her daughter, both at home and in school. Her daughter is a wonderful little girl, who truly loves Operation Hero and gives it her all in everything she does! It’s a pleasure to have her in the program.” –Montse Correa, Operation Hero Team Leader
