This epidemic is bringing out the best in people. Parents are exploring new ways to learn and play with their children; family and friends are finding ways to connect and creating closer and stronger relationships; previously tech-unsaavy people are learning to use technology and loving it; neighbors are checking-in on each other; restaurants are offering discounts on takeout orders; hotels are offering free or discounted rooms rates for medical personnel working overtime and wanting to keep their families safe at home; the list goes on and on!

If you are looking for a way to help, please consider donating food or supplies to help military members who may be struggling during this time. With the temporary restriction on PCS moves, some families' household goods may have been picked up and they've been left without basic needs. In other cases, spouses may have lost their job or their income has been severely reduced, and the family is having trouble making ends meet.

We are looking for non-perishable dry goods, and well-being and sanitation supplies. All ASYMCA Hawai`i branches are accepting donations Monday – Friday, 0800 – 1300.
