Armed Services YMCA of El Paso is NOT government funded. Individual and corporate gifts sustain our mission of serving and strengthening military families.
In close coordination with installation commanders, the Armed Services YMCA tailors our programming to fill the highest priority gaps with low and no-cost programs and services including childcare, hospital assistance, counseling, emergency food and clothing assistance, education programs, as well as family, youth and teen programs.
Recognized as a top-rated charity by Charity Watch, Charity Navigator and Independent Charities of America, 89 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to support programs. The Armed Services YMCA depends on more than 10,000 volunteers providing over 112,000 hours each year to help implement programming and support at our 34 branch and affiliate locations. Join our volunteers and with your help, we can help make military life easier.
Volunteers allow us to better serve military families. Military children receive more attention in early childhood learning activities where volunteers assist teachers, teacher aides, and parents. Our Operation Kid Comfort (quilts and pillows) program allows volunteer quilters to use their quilting skills in providing comfort to military children whose parent is deployed.
