How to Help

Together, We can Strengthen
Military Families

For nearly 160 years the Armed Services YMCA has been strengthening our military families due to the generosity of our valued donors. Our young and brave service members face the unique challenges of military life, and at times struggle to fully provide the basics for themselves or their families. They are voluntarily serving and sacrificing daily for our freedom.

In close coordination with installation commanders, the Armed Services YMCA tailors our programming to fill the highest priority gaps with low and no-cost programs and services including child care, hospital assistance, counseling, emergency food and clothing assistance, education programs, as well as family, youth and teen programs. Please get involved today.

Why your support matters

Service members sacrifice daily for our freedom. Relocations, deployments, and frequent training in the field present unique challenges for Fort Leonard Wood military families, impacting spousal employment opportunities, family bonding, and financial well-being. At times, they struggle to fully provide the basics for themselves or their families.

The Armed Services YMCA Fort Leonard Wood works to address the challenges of military service by ensuring no military family is left behind. The gratitude and successful outcomes of those we serve can belong to you.

Volunteer Your Time
