The Armed Services YMCA Killeen Youth Basketball is open to kids ages 5-10. Every child should participate in every game and will receive equal playing time, regardless of skill level.
Tee-Ball - Currently Not Available
ASYMCA Tee-Ball is designed to teach young players the fundamentals of the game. Participants will learn how to catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere. The focus of the league is to have fun, meet new friends and play in a non-competitive environment. Each participant will receive a game jersey & hat. Ages 3-6
Be goal-oriented! Youth Soccer is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. ASYMCA Youth Soccer promises no tryouts, no getting cut, and no bench warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques. The ASYMCA Youth Sports Program helps kids become not only better players but better people as well. It's a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting, and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement. Ages 3-6.
Emphasis is on teaching the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development in a fun, esteem-promoting atmosphere. Children will have the opportunity to learn the basic volleyball fundamentals such as underhand serving, setting, hitting, and digging in a non-competitive environment. Ages 9-11.
Our Taekwondo classes are foundational in nature. During the winter and spring seasons, classes are focused on sport Taekwondo i.e. kicking combinations, footwork, and conditioning. In fall classes, training is focused more on traditional Taekwondo. Participants in the class receive their very own black uniforms! Ages 5+.

Huddle up‚ flag football is here! Armed Services YMCA Killeen flag football is a recreational program designed for youngsters new to the sport of football as well as those not quite ready for tackle football. The Y flag football program is geared toward those youth who want to learn how to play the sport, brush up on the rules, tactics, and skills, improve their game, and most importantly - HAVE FUN! Flag football is for boys and girls 3-6 years of age. Participants should anticipate a challenging program that focuses on fundamentals, good sportsmanship, and fun.
Little dancers will receive an introduction to the world of ballet! This class will focus on body alignment and awareness, while also developing ballet vocabulary and proper technique. The dancer will increase their strength and flexibility along with their coordination. Ages 3-8.
Kiddos will learn the basics of cheer, including movements, synchronization, precision, jumps, cheers, and chants! Cheerleaders will build self-confidence while developing social skills and spirit! This program is designed to give a full workout while improving flexibility, coordination, balance and strength. Participants also work on listening skills and following directions! Ages 4-10.
Sports camps and clinics offer youth specialized sports training and are designed to teach sports skills, fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship while reinforcing the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Camps include, but are not limited to: soccer, football, baseball, and volleyball. Ages 3-16.
