Our signature event, Celebrating the Military Family took place on November 7. Six incredible military families, from all six service branches to include the Hawaii Air National Guard, were honored during a very special morning that included entertainment by The United States Marine Corps Forces, Pacific Band, the Hui Ha `a Koa, 25th Infantry Division and keynote speaker, General Charles Q. Brown, Commander, United States Pacific Air Forces.
Laurie Moore, Executive Director of the Armed Services YMCA Honolulu, recently received the prestigious Cades Schutte - Shutte Foundation Nonprofit Leadership Award at the Business Leadership Hawaii Awards sponsored by Pacific Business News.
