DOD Military Outreach Initiative

NOTICE as of 9/1/2020:
Due to COVID-19 disruptions and length of time passed, ALL applications submitted prior to June 1 that are ready for activation must be re-submitted with updated eligibility information and a current signature. Please do not submit a new or renewal request until (1) your unit-designated facility is open for business (check the level of services to make sure they meet your needs) and (2) you are ready/able to begin using the facility. Members with applications dated prior to June 1 that were recently notified that their membership is activated must still provide an updated/signed application to validate the Department of Defense payment for a full 6-month membership period starting in August. The ASYMCA staff will work diligently to expedite application processing. Thank you for your service and for your understanding during these unprecedented times!

NOTICE as of 3/1/2020: Due to COVID-19, YMCA and private fitness access will be situational, based on individual facility determination and as regulated by local and state authorities. Service members are responsible for coordinating and complying with their military unit/command recommendations and restrictions on facility use. Minimum attendance reporting is waived beginning March 1, 2020, until further notice. Members that will not use the facility for 30 days or more should notify the facility as soon as known (via phone or email) and request their membership be put on HOLD status. If approved by the facility manager, the membership term may be extended by the same period of time it was on hold at no additional cost to the government.
